The Glendale wine merchant, at 400 E. Glendale Blvd., names four wines under $10 in the first 25 picks, plus five more under $20. No. 7 is one of those fine grenaches from Spain, only $6.99, a 2003 Tres Ojos garnacha, and No. 9, a $17.75 semillon, the 2003 Ruston from Napa Valle. In the 13th spot, Red Carpet chooses a Napa blend of cabernet sauvignon Cab·er·net Sauvignon n. 1. A variety of black grape used to make red wine, notably in Bordeaux and the Napa Valley. 2. Red Carpet's No. 22 is dubbed ``a super Tuscan value'' and goes for $9.64 a bottle. It's the 2001 Monte Antico, a big and zesty blend of sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon and merlot.
