Here's a sampling of what's likely to be hot:

Honda will use the show for the worldwide debut of its new two-seat S2000 Roadster. The high-performance sports car is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that produces more than 240 horsepower and still meets California's tough low-emission vehicle standards.

From the other side of the world comes two upscale machines packed with the kind of raw power that will snap your head back into those plush leather seats with the greatest G-forces the law allows on a public roadway.

Porsche is answering the speed challenge with the introduction of the Porsche 911 Carrera 4. It sports the company's first Porsche Stability Management System, a new control concept that stabilizes the car in what its makers call ``extreme conditions.'' The power comes from a six-cylinder, water-cooled engine that delivers 300 horsepower.

Domestic automakers will be well-represented in the concept-car rollouts. They include the Buick Signia, billed as a ``multiple-activity vehicle'' based on the architecture of the Buick Park Avenue
