 Symphony Orchestra and Master Chorale's Afternoon Delight "Afternoon Delight" may refer to:
  • "Afternoon Delight (song)", a 1976 number-one single by Starland Vocal Band
  • "Afternoon Delight (Arrested Development episode)", an episode from the television series Arrested Development
 concert.

Chernyak will perform Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 in G Major.

Born in Russia, Chernyak played in the Leningrad Symphony Orchestra and appeared in numerous solo and ensemble performances throughout the Soviet Union, Hungary and Germany.

The symphony, under the direction of David Newby, will also perform Debussy's ``Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun'' and conclude with Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C Major.

The concert is 4 p.m. Sunday at the Lancaster Performing Arts Center A performing arts center, often abbreviated PAC, is a multi-use performance space that can be adapted for use by various types of the performing arts, including dance, music and theatre. , 750 W. Lancaster Blvd.

A ``curtain raiser'' lecture on the music will be held one hour prior to the performance. ``Afternoon Delight'' is the fourth concert of the orchestra's ``A Musical Oasis'' 2004-05 season.

Single-seat ticket prices are $9 youth, $16 seniors and $18 adult. Tickets are available at Lancaster Performing Arts Center box office, by phone at (661) 723-5950, or online at www.avsomc.org.
