The 76th Los Angeles County Fair The Los Angeles County Fair (also called simply the L.A. County Fair) is an annual event held in the Fairplex in Pomona, California, held every September. It is a carnival with rides, merchants, food vendors, cooking contests, and livestock. The 2007 L.A.  promises to bring a wide variety of music to the Fairplex's grandstand entertainment stage this year. After ``Ally McBeal'' singer Vonda Shepard kicks off the entertainment on Thursday, you can expect to hear everything from the classic rock 'n' roll rock 'n' roll: see rock music.  of Peter Frampton to contemporary Christian music Contemporary Christian Music (or CCM; also by its religious neutral term Inspirational music) is a genre of popular music which is lyrically focused on matters concerned with the Christian faith.  by Steven Curtis Chapman Steven Curtis Chapman (born November 21, 1962 in Paducah, Kentucky, U.S.) is a contemporary Christian musician who has won five Grammy awards and more Gospel Music Association awards than any other artist in history.  to alternative rock by Smash mouth. THURSDAY: Vonda Shepard, who rocketed to fame as the bar-band singer in the hit series ``Ally McBeal,'' performs classic tunes and her own originals from the hit Fox show.

FRIDAY:: Contemporary Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman sings hits from his numerous albums. Chapman has sold more than 4 million albums and has won 32 Dove Awards and three Grammy Awards. Additional fee required.

SATURDAY: Hot Rod magazine Hot Rod magazine is a popular American monthly magazine devoted the the hobby of hot rodding, or modifying automobiles for performance and appearance. History
Hot Rod magazine is the oldest magazine devoted to hot rodding having been published since 1948. Robert E.
 presents a concert by REO Speedwagon. The group is known for such hit songs as ``Keep on Lovin' You'' and ``Can't Fight This Feeling.'' Additional fee required.

SUNDAY: Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles headlines the evening's musical entertainment at the Fiesta del Castillo, a celebration of Mexican Independence Day. The first all-female mariachi group in the United States returns to Fairplex after performing at the inaugural Noche del Mariachi in 1995.

MONDAY: Join the Pointer Sisters for a night of rhythm and blues rhythm and blues (R&B)

Any of several closely related musical styles developed by African American artists. The various styles were based on a mingling of European influences with jazz rhythms and tonal inflections, particularly syncopation and the flatted blues chords.
. Three-time Grammy winners, the sisters recently appeared in the Broadway musical ``Ain't Misbehavin' and are famous for hits that include ``Jump'' and ``Automatic.''

TUESDAY: Contemporary Christian rock group dc Talk performs songs off their successful fourth album, ``Jesus Freak.'' Group members Toby McKeehan, Kevin Smith and Michael Tait blend their belief in God with rock 'n' roll tunes on their fifth album ``Supernatural,'' due in stores on Sept. 22.

SEPT. 16: Veteran Southern rock 'n' roll band Lynyrd Skynyrd brings such rock anthems as ``Sweet Home Alabama'' and ``Free Bird'' to the Fairplex's stage. The group's latest release, ``Lynyrd Skynyrd ... Lyve From Steel Town,'' offers concert versions of their greatest hits over the past 25 years.

SEPT. 17: Alternative rock 'n' roll group Smash mouth takes the stage to perform songs off their debut album, ``Fush Yu Mang.'' The group says they find inspiration from groups like Van Halen, Ministry, the Clash and War, among others. They have found success with the single ``Walking on the Sun,'' which has enjoyed frequent radio airplay air·play

SEPT. 18: Country music sensation and Oklahoma-native Bryan White makes a stop at the fair, fresh from his tour with singer LeAnn Rimes this summer. His five No. 1 hits include ``Someone Else's Star'' and ``Sittin' on Go "Sittin' on Go" is a single by country music singer Bryan White that reached the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. It was the fourth and final single released from his CD, Between Now And Forever. .''

SEPT. 20: Venezuelan-born singer Jose Luis Rodriguez, also known as ``El Puma,'' performs from his Grammy Award-nominated albums of romantic songs. He has received Chile's Pelican of Silver awards in 1980, 1981 and 1991. Additional fee required.

SEPT. 22: Enjoy classic pop music with Hall & Oates. The duo (Daryl Hall and John Oates) has sold more than 40 million albums with the help of hit singles like ``Out of Touch,'' ``Maneater'' and ``I Can't Go for That.'' They are Billboard magazine's best-selling duo of all time and have just released their first album in seven years, ``Marigold marigold, any plant of the genus Tagetes of the family Asteraceae (aster family), mostly Central and South American herbs cultivated elsewhere as garden flowers. The two common species of marigold, both annuals, are distinguished as African, or Aztec (T.  Sky.''

SEPT. 23: At age 10, Peter Frampton and his band the Ravens performed on the same bill with David Bowie's group George & the Dragons. Since then, the classic rocker has recorded the best-selling live album of all time and enjoyed the successes of singles that include ``Baby, I Love Your Way'' and ``Do You Feel Like I Do.'' His latest release is 1995's ``Frampton Comes Alive II.''

SEPT. 24: Alternative rock band Sister Hazel performs songs from its album ``Somewhere More Familiar.'' Formed in 1993, the group took its name from a female minister who has run a rescue mission since the 1970s in its native Gainesville, Fla. The group gained national recognition after signing with Universal Records and releasing the single ``All for You.''

SEPT. 25: Creedence Clearwater Revisited Creedence Clearwater Revisited is a band that was formed in 1995, by former Creedence Clearwater Revival bassist and drummer - Stu Cook and Doug Clifford, respectively. The band , a group created by former Creedence Clearwater Revival Creedence Clearwater Revival (commonly referred to by its initials CCR or simply as Creedence) was a southern rock American rock band, which consisted of John Fogerty (vocals, guitar, harmonica, piano), Tom Fogerty (guitar, vocals, piano), Stu Cook (bass guitar,  members Doug Clifford and Stu Cook, performs a tribute to the original band. SEPT. 26: The final concert in the fair entertainment lineup features veteran r&b group Kool & the Gang. The group's ``Ladies Night'' and ``Celebrate'' helped catapult them to success in the late 1970s. Additional fee required.
