L.A. CONSERVANCY CELEBRATES AT THE COLISEUM.


The Los Angeles Conservancy The Los Angeles Conservancy is the preeminent historic preservation organization in Los Angeles, California. It works to document, rescue and revitalize historic buildings, places and neighborhoods in the city. , the nation's largest historic preservation Historic preservation is the act of maintaining and repairing existing historic materials and the retention of a property's form as it has evolved over time. Memorial Coliseum (or Veterans Memorial Coliseum in some cases) can refer to:
  • Alexander Memorial Coliseum, Atlanta, Georgia

 in Exposition Park, kids' kite decorating and kite flying, food tasting from historic Los Angeles restaurants, music, a silent auction of specially designed anniversary banners, and a giant birthday cake in the shape of the Coliseum.

The event runs from noon to 4 p.m.

Advance tickets cost $20 for conservancy members, $25 for nonmembers; admission is free for children under 12. All tickets sold on the day of the event cost $25.
