The Golden State Boxer's Association has been holding its meetings at the Old Spaghetti Factory on Sunset Boulevard Sunset Boulevard is a street in the western part of Los Angeles County, California, that stretches from Figueroa Street in downtown Los Angeles to the Pacific Coast Highway at the Pacific Ocean in the Pacific Palisades.  in Hollywood the past 30 years.

But the restaurant is closing its doors today, meaning today's meeting will be the last there. It begins at 11:30 a.m.

As always, there will be plenty of the sport's celebrities on hand. Today, they will include lightweight greats Mando Ramos Armando Ramos (born November 15, 1948 in Long Beach, CA) was a professional boxer.

Armando "Mando" Ramos was one of the most popular and exciting fighters in Southern California during the 1960s. Ramos was an outstanding amateur standout.
 and Bobby Chacon Bobby Chacon (born November 28, 1951) in Sylmar, CA, USA, and was a two time world boxing champion. A native of California (where he campaigned most of his career), Chacon became a world champion on July 9th, 1974, knocking out defending world Featherweight champion Alfredo Marcano .

Also attending will be Art Aragon, the original "Golden Boy" from East Los Angeles East Los Angeles, uninc. city (1990 pop. 126,379), Los Angeles co., S Calif., a residential suburb of Los Angeles, in an industrial area. It has a large Mexican-American population. There is a performing arts center and a cultural center. A junior college is there. . Aragon, who will be 80in November, compiled a record of 90-20-6 with 61 knockouts fighting in the lightweight and welterweight divisions from 1944-60.

After today, the Golden State Boxer's Association, in its 39th year, will hold its meetings at the Dreams Cafe inside the Dunes Motel Sunset in Hollywood. The meetings are open to the public.
