The Irwindale Speedway schedule for 2007 was released, with opening night slated for March 10 with the D1 Grand Prix The D1 Grand Prix (Japanese: D1グランプリ in katakana, D1 guranpuri in romaji, abbreviated as D1GP and subtitled Professional Drift) is a production car drifting series from Japan.  drifting series.

The NASCAR Toyota All-Star Showdown The Toyota All-Star Showdown is a nonpoints, all-star race that brings together the top drivers in NASCAR's lower-level series.

It was inaugurated in 2003, and all three events so far have been held at Irwindale Speedway in suburban Los Angeles.
 is tentatively scheduled for the weekend of Oct. 19-21 pending approval by NASCAR and Toyota. The Showdown pits the top drivers from the two Grand National Divisions, the West Series and Busch East Series.

The Fourth of July West Series race is scheduled to be a 250-lapper. A fireworks show is also on tap for the special Wednesday night race.
