Kobe Bryant Kobe Bean Bryant (born July 23 1978(1978--)) is an American All-Star shooting guard in the National Basketball Association (NBA) who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers.  doesn't even remember the play that led to a $75,000 lawsuit lawsuit: see procedure; tort.  being filed against him by a fan in Memphis, Tenn. The fan, identified as Bill Geeslin, claims Bryant deliberately elbowed him as he dove for a loose ball in a game.
