Gary Miller's run as a sports-talk show on KSPN-AM (710) has come to a screeching halt, several station sources confirmed Thursday. Effective today, D'Marco Farr D'marco Farr (born June 9, 1971 in San Pablo, CA) is a former NFL football player with the St. Louis Rams. Farr played defensive tackle for the Rams from 1994-2000 and recorded 36.5 career sacks. He was a member of the Rams team that won Super Bowl XXXIV.  flies solo (gulp) until a new permanent co-host is found for the 1-3 p.m. show. Suzy Shuster Suzy Shuster is an American broadcaster. She got her start in sports broadcasting as an intern at the 1994 Final Four, broadcast on CBS. She was educated at Columbia University and graduated with a degree in History & Art History in 1994.  will sit in with Farr today.

Making an abrupt switch like this in the sports-talk radio world usually comes with a plan to replace the departed talent. In this case, however, station program director Larry Gifford doesn't seem to have anyone (such as Petros Papadakis) waiting in the wings.

There was no specific reasons given for Miller's removal, except that sources say his TV personna (he anchors at KCAL kcal kilocalorie.
