L.A. CONFIDENTIAL.Byline: -- Tom Hoffarth Put together John Salley, Nick Lachey, Stacy Keibler, Brady Anderson, Kyle Boller and Brian Vickers in the same room, and what'll they have in common? Other than wanting to trash Jessica Simpson ... They've got the Hollywood Fame, the latest fly-by-night expansion franchise for the American Basketball Association. The ownership group appears to include Salley, the ex-Lakers forward and ``Best Damn Sports Show Period'' co-host; Lachey, the pseudo-singer; Keibler, the WWE wrassler; Anderson, the former Baltimore Orioles outfielder; Boller, the Baltimore Ravens quarterback out of Valencia's Hart High; and Vickers, the NASCAR driver. They want the team up and running in November, with home games at the decrepit L.A. Sports Arena. For more info on player and cheerleader tryouts: www.thehollywoodfame.com. |
