Philip Douglas "Phil" Jackson (born September 17, 1945 in Deer Lodge, Montana) is the current coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, an American professional basketball team. addressed his players about this very issue during the season- opening meeting back in October. With a much deeper roster this season, Jackson acknowledged he would have some hard decisions to make from game to game.
