The starting positions for the 13th annual Laughlin Desert Challenge will be selected today at the Los Angeles headquarters for SCORE International. The Laughlin Desert Challenge, Jan.18-21, will kick off the six-race SCORE Desert Series, which includes the Baja 500 in June and the Baja 1000 in November. Nearly 250 entrants are expected for the Laughlin Desert Challenge to compete for $400,000 in prize money. Daily general admission tickets, good for grandstand seating, are $20 for each Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, with children 5 and under free. Daily VIP tickets are $40 each for the three days, good for admission to the Laughlin Hospitality Chalet, including food beverage and special seating.
