There were a couple of jokes made after the Lakers' comeback victory Wednesday over Minnesota about Kevin Garnett Kevin Garnett (born May 19, 1976) is an American professional basketball player for the NBA's Boston Celtics. The 6 ft 11 in, 220 lb (0 kg) power forward is regarded as one of the best all around players in the game today.  immediately demanding a trade after the Timberwolves' fourth-quarter implosion implosion /im·plo·sion/ (im-plo´zhun) see flooding.

 and Andrew Bynum Andrew Bynum (born October 27 1987, in Plainsboro, New Jersey) is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. Bynum is listed as 7'0" and 285 lbs and plays center.  they would offer Minnesota for Garnett.

On the serious side, that was an inspirational win for the Lakers, who won't play another set of back-to-back games on this long road trip.

Garnett was asked if he was surprised the Lakers made a run with Kobe Bryant out.

``No,'' Garnett said, ``because they did the same thing in Chicago. They're scrappy, it's a good mix. You have to find a way to divert that and get them to do different things.''
