Garcia, 31, of Hawthorne was booked for investigation of sexual battery and held at the Pacific Division jail in lieu of Instead of; in place of; in substitution of. It does not mean in addition to. $2,500 bail, police said. Garcia has been linked to similar attacks on women at the airport as far back as October 1997, police said.
