L-3 Communications Names Susan D. Opp a Corporate Vice President and President of its Communication Systems-West (CS-West), division. Ms. Opp assumes the role previously held by Curtis Brunson before his recent appointment to Senior Vice President - Corporate Strategy and Development. CS-West provides high-performance wideband communication systems for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies. "I am pleased that Susan will be taking on the position of President of CS-West," said Mr. Strianese. "She has been an integral part of the CS-West senior management team - working closely with military customers and leading several successful product development efforts. As a result, this division has traditionally been one of the key growth drivers for L-3. I believe that Susan's strong technical and management skills will continue CS-West's tradition of growth and new product development well into the future."
