This task order was awarded under the General Services Administration's ANSWER (Applications 'n' Support for Widely-diverse EndUser Requirements) contract. The initial value of the award is $3.3 million through March of 2003, with options providing a total potential contract value of $57.4 million through 2008.

The AF DCGS simultaneously tasks and receives, processes, exploits, and disseminates multi-discipline intelligence data from national, theater, tactical, and commercial collection assets in a distributed environment to support national, joint, combined, and Air Force operations.

Responsibilities under this contract include MASINT functional/program management, exploitation and analysis operations, operational planning, system development, integration, and training. Additionally, EER along with L-3 Communications Analytics Corporation, will support Headquarters Air Combat Command, Directorate of Intelligence; Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance may refer to:
  • the US Joint Command see'' Joint Functional Component Command for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance.
  • the military term, see'' Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition, and Reconnaissance.
 (ISR) Systems Division; and ISR Ground Systems Branch at Langley Air Force Base Langley Air Force Base, U.S. military installation, 3,195 acres (1,293 hectares), SE Va., N of Hampton; est. 1917 and named for aviation pioneer Samuel P. Langley. , VA. In addition to Langley, work will be performed at AF DCGS sites worldwide including Washington, DC, California, Hawaii, Korea, and Germany.
