Kyocera Wireless Announces Two New Phones for Emerging CDMA Markets at CTIA Wireless 2005; Kyocera Topaz KX7 and Kyocera Prisma KX17 Set to Address Entry-Level International Demand.


NEW ORLEANS -- Kyocera Wireless Corp., a leading global manufacturer of CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) A method for transmitting simultaneous signals over a shared portion of the spectrum.  Wireless 2005 unveiled two new wireless handsets designed to meet the needs of emerging CDMA markets and other International CDMA carriers seeking to offer easy-to-use entry level handsets.

The Kyocera Topaz KX7 is a sleek, silver clamshell handset and the Kyocera Prisma KX17 is a compact, silver bar phone with an internal antenna. Both new Kyocera phones feature color screens and bright blue backlit An LCD screen that has its own light source from the back of the screen, making the background brighter and characters appear sharper.  keypads for enhanced style and ease of use. Operating only on the 800MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock.
