 for some fun in the snow? In this simple poem, a girl and her dog come inside after playing in the snow. The girl describes taking off her hood, hat, and other winter gear. After snacking on cookies and a hot drink, the girl describes putting back on all of her winter clothes, including a muffler muffler, in automobiles, device designed to reduce the noise from the exhaust of an internal-combustion engine. When the exhaust gases from an internal-combustion engine are released directly into the atmosphere, they create a loud noise, caused by the passage of the , gloves, snow pants, and boots, so she can have more fun in the snow. This short rhyming story has large, colorful pictures and rhythmic, fast-paced, fun text. Young children will enjoy the display of independence as the girl puts on her winter gear all by herself.
