Kushner Companies relocates office to Florham Park.


Kushner Companies, one of the fastest growing private real estate organizations in the region, has relocated its headquarters to the recently completed 18 Columbia Turnpike turnpike, road paid for partly or wholly by fees collected from travelers at tollgates. It derives its name from the hinged bar that prevented passage through such a gate until the toll was paid. The move reflects the extraordinary growth of the firm in recent years. "We are in one of the most active periods of expansion in our organization's nearly 50-year history," noted Ramat. "The company now owns and manages more than 24,000 apartment units with a commercial portfolio consisting of 7.5 million SF of office, industrial and retail space. We currently have more than 1,000 employees, up from three hundred just five years ago. Our new offices offer wonderful amenities and high-end interior space in which to accommodate our burgeoning organization."

The state-of-the-art 160,000-SF 18 Columbia Turnpike is part of the five-building Columbia Corporate Center office complex, totaling approximately 500,000 SF, which is owned by Kushner Companies. Consolidating and streamlining its operations, Kushner Companies has moved its executive offices, including its affiliates Westminster Communities and Westminster Management, from 26 Columbia Turnpike and brought employees from another location in Freehold, New Jersey Freehold, New Jersey is made up of two municipalities.
