The characters are interesting, although a comic starring a librarian may require some book talking. Yes, it's true: as an agent of the Library of England Yomiko is almost certainly a librarian (don't ask me where she went to school). Read or Die contains vulgarity, comic book violence and sexual material--there is a certain amount of sexual tension between Yomiko and Nenene, and Marihara tells Nenene he's going to rape her on a pile of her own books.
