The partners already owned Buss, a maker of reciprocating single-screw compounding extruders, and Waeschle, a maker of mixing and conveying equipment. KW&P is a leading producer of twin-screw compounding extruders and other mixers. With the sale of KW&P, ThyssenKrupp Group of Germany completes its exit from the plastics machinery business.
