Krieg directs application of Lean Six Sigma to the DAB process.


Under Secretary of Defense (Acquisition, Technology and Logistics) Ken Krieg, in a June 28 memorandum to all Defense Acquisition Board members and Overarching o·ver·arch·ing

 Integrated Product Team leads, discussed his ongoing initiative to review and apply Lean/Six Sigma principles to the DAB process. This review, Krieg wrote, would "make the DAB more effective and efficient in conducting milestone reviews and better position programs to meet their cost, schedule, and performance targets."
