These multifunction, high-volume products are designed to bring robust, efficient fax capabilities to workgroups in medium and large-sized businesses.

Konica's Fax [phone] deliver the core strengths of Konica's award-winning fax product line, including 10 page-per-minute (ppm) LED engine speed, up to 600 x 600 dpi print resolution, QWERTY keypad, convenience copying up to 99 pages, 4-line display and 72-hour memory back-up. In addition, Konica's Fax [phone] offer a solid list of new features including increased toner yield of 5,000 pages, the addition of 99 department codes and a back-up file feature, as well as a comprehensive selection of upgrade options, specifically Unimessage Pro MFP software, T.37/T.38 Internet Fax capabilities and dual-line functionality.

New Optional Upgrades:

Unimessage Pro MFP Software

Available in a standalone or up to a 10-user network version, Unimessage Pro is a fully scalable and integrated desktop messaging application that allows users to fax, Internet fax, manage documents, copy, print, scan, OCR and email, bringing all the functions of the Konica Fax [phone] together in one central location.

By setting routing rules with Unimessage Pro, incoming messages and files can automatically be sent to the appropriate recipient's email or fax machine. In addition, the software uses OCR to convert faxed or scanned documents into editable text. It also enables Konica's Fax [phone] to become standalone and network printers.

T.37 Internet Fax to Email/LAN Printing

With the T.37 Internet Fax to Email/LAN Printing option, faxes can be transmitted and received over the Internet via email and printed. In addition, a hard copy file sent via email from the fax machine can be converted into a TIFF or PDF attachment. The T.37 option eliminates phone-related charges; enables mixed broadcasting, i.e., sending a fax to a combination of fax numbers and email addresses; and adds network printing capabilities.

T.38 Fax to Fax via Internet/Intranet

With the T.38 Fax to Fax via Internet /Intranet option, faxes can be delivered in real time via site-to-site data communications or voice communications (Voice over IP). The T.38 functionality eliminates the need for a phone line and related phone charges.

Dual Line

The dual-line option increases the production of the Konica Fax [phone] with the addition of a second modem. With two phone lines, line one can be dedicated to transmit and receive only, while line two can either send and receive, send only, or receive only. Dual lines provide a number of benefits: decreased downtime; increased network capacity, while still only having one machine; the use of a private, non-published number; and the utilization of rollover features offered by local phone companies.
