The integrated solution will support KommuneKredit's cross-asset trading, including structured products and risk management activities. Adaptiv is a real-time, straight-through trading, risk management and processing solution. It provides tools for portfolio analysis and exposure modelling as well as global and real-time pre-deal limit checks that help enable dealers to perform "what if" scenarios on trading ideas. Reech REAL is a suite of derivatives pricing models used for pricing and structuring, risk management, model validation and benchmarking. Reech REAL provides single and multifactor models in conjunction with a choice of numerical methods to support the pricing of derivatives. The two solutions will be integrated for KommuneKredit. Morten Soetofte, project manager at KommuneKredit, said, "We want to move from back-to-back trading to a portfolio approach and SunGard's infrastructure will help us to do this. The integrated Adaptiv and Reech REAL solutions will help us have a better understanding of our portfolios. We will also implement fewer trades which in turn will lead to lower transaction fees."
