Kodak digital science document archive writer integrated with Captiva Software's Inputaccel.

Recognizing the need to provide organizations with ongoing access to timely, accurate and usable data, Eastman Kodak Co.'s Document Imaging business recently announced that InputAccel, an input management software solution from Captiva Software Corp. (Nasdaq:CPTV), now supports the Kodak Digital Science Document Archive Writer (DAW).

InputAccel enables organizations to transform paper documents into electronic data, extract the desired information, convert this information into a usable format and integrate the data into the organization's enterprise systems. Through this integration with Kodak, InputAccel allows Kodak's scanner customers to capture and deliver documents directly into the high-speed DAW, which preserves digital documents by rapidly converting them to an analog format and writing the digitally enhanced images to archive storage media (microfilm).
