Kodak Board Elects Two Senior Vice Presidents.Business & Technology Editors ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 2000 Eastman Kodak Company's board of directors today elected two members of management to the position of senior vice president. Elected were James C. Stoffel, currently Director, Research and Development, Chief Technical Officer and vice president, and David L. Swift, currently Chairman and President, Greater Asia Region and vice president. Stoffel, 54, joined Kodak in 1997 in the newly created position of vice president and director, Electronic Imaging Products Research & Development, and was named director of R&D in 1998. He was also elected a vice president of the company in 1998. Stoffel came to Kodak from Xerox, where he began his career in 1972. At Xerox, he held various positions of increasing responsibility in research, advanced development, engineering and manufacturing, product development, and marketing and sales. In 1989, he was named Vice President & Chief Engineer; later became Vice President, Imaging Systems Development; and later Vice President and General Manager of the Advance Imaging business unit for Xerox.
