Kodak's Frank Zaffino to Retire; Phil Tatusko to Head Equipment Manufacturing.


ROCHESTER, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 4, 1999--Frank D. Zaffino, general manager of Global Equipment Manufacturing and vice president of Eastman Kodak Company, will retire effective February 1, the company announced today.

Zaffino, 58, joined Kodak in 1963 as a production engineer in Manufacturing Engineering. In 1974, he was named department head, Instant Camera Assembly and, in 1980, was appointed superintendent of Parts Manufacturing. In 1984, he became manager, Manufacturing and Material Management. He was appointed general manager, Kodak Apparatus Division and elected a vice president of the company in 1985. In 1993, he was appointed general manager of the Kodak Equipment Manufacturing Division, responsible for managing the Global Equipment Manufacturing network.

A native of Hawthorne, N.J., Zaffino holds a BS degree in mechanical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Tatusko, 48, began his Kodak career in 1973 as an Industrial Engineer at Kodak Apparatus Division. In 1989, he moved to Corporate Finance to reengineer financial management systems and processes. In 1993 he was named manager of Parts Manufacturing in Germany, and in 1995, returned to the U.S. as manager of Manufacturing in Office Imaging. He was appointed Assistant General Manager of Global Equipment Manufacturing in 1997.
