Knock Knock--But It's No Joke.If you have customers who want to do Internet banking but who can't even figure out e-mail, you should took at what Leaders Bank is doing. Leaders Bank, a new institution based in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook, will send a bank employee to customers' offices to show them how Internet banking works. "People may be computer savvy and stilt feet they want some help in learning how to do their banking on the Internet," says James E. Lynch, Leaders Bank president and CEO. "We're glad to show them how it works, either in your office or theirs with no obligation. We walk them through the process step by step and make them comfortable so they can ask any question that comes to mind." To date, Lynch says, about 62 percent of the bank's customers have signed up for Internet banking. |
