Kmart and B.A.S.S., Inc. Sign Strategic-Marketing Partnership Agreement.


MONTGOMERY, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 1997--Kmart, the second-largest retailer in the nation, and B.A.S.S., Inc., the world's oldest and largest bass fishing organization, have formed a strategic alliance partnership which places Kmart as a major new sponsor of the premier professional fishing circuit, the BASSMASTER Tournament Trail.

The three-year contract becomes effective in August 1997.
