In addition, as the Kitty Hawk air and ground businesses grow in size and complexity we have designed the entire Information Technology platform to be scalable and able to accommodate such growth.

"The new Website is yet another key step in our journey to ensure Kitty Hawk remains the industry leader in seamless, integrated air and ground shipping for "mission-critical", high-security and high-value freight products and services. In the years ahead customer-focused technology will help us significantly expand geographically as well as improve our competitive position."

In the coming months, Kitty Hawk will be introducing additional features on its web site, including:

* The ability to accommodate additional Customer, shipper and consignee consignee n. a person or business holding another's goods for sale or for delivery to a designated agent. (See: consign)
