Kirsten's a real sport; Her goal? To tackle top stars of soccer.

Glamour girl Kirsten Kirsten may refer to: This name may be spelled: Kirsten, Kiersten, Kearston, and Kearsten.

Kirsten has been single for 18 months since splitting up with her boyfriend, a former model.

"I haven't even had a date," she sighs.

"I found the only people who asked me out were attracted to the notorious person they'd read about in the papers, and that really isn't me."

Kirsten's wild days are a thing of the past, she says.

"I was a complete pillock," she admits.

"I was one of the most successful models in the country but it's easy to be dragged into the corrupt side of the business - and I was.

"I've enjoyed modelling but what I really want now is a career, not just a job, and I want to be taken seriously.

"I've been living a very quiet life recently. I think I've grown up.

"Now I'm really excited about my new job on L!VE.

Kirsten makes her debut as presenter of Sport L!VE on Cable Channel 18 tonight at 6.30pm. She takes over from L!VE TV's Gail McKenna, who has landed a top job as sports presenter for Channel 5 when it launches next year.

"Presenting Sport L!VE is such a big thing for me," says Kirsten.

"It's going to be fun being a person instead of just an image."
