Kintera acquires Web design firm Involve, Inc. for undisclosed price. (Cyberbucks).


Adding To The Web: Sorrento Mesa-based Kintera, a provider of Internet services to nonprofit organizations, said it acquired Involve, Inc., a New York-based Web architecture, design and development firm, for an undisclosed price.

The deal came about after Kintera began working with Involve in building Web sites, said Kintera founder and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Harry Gruber.

With the purchase of Involve and its 11 employees, Kintera's total staff numbers 106, including 73 in San Diego. Kintera declined to reveal its annual sales.

Among Involve's key clients are People for the American Way People For the American Way (PFAW) is a progressive advocacy organization in the United States. Under U.S. tax code, PFAW is organized as a tax-exempt 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. The current president of PFAW is Ralph Neas. , Earthwatch and the Pew Wilderness Center. Among Kintera's clients are the American Heart Association American Heart Association (AHA),
