Kintera Employees Volunteer Skills and Time at Nonprofit Organizations for Martin Luther King, Jr. ''Day On''.

SAN DIEGO -- Employees of solutions provider Kintera(r) Inc. (NASDAQ:KNTA) celebrated the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday this year with a "Day On," rather than taking the day off. More than 70 employees worked with 25 nonprofit organizations as a way to honor Dr. King's life and legacy, while most of the web and client services staff at Kintera remained in the company's offices to help customers involved in tsunami disaster relief efforts.

From providing technical help for a nonprofit's computer system, to conducting a food drive or cleaning up shelters, Kintera team members spent the day donating their skills and time to charities in communities throughout the U.S. And for seven small organizations among the many worthy groups that registered, Kintera donated technical services and one year of Kintera Sphere(tm) software to help those nonprofits achieve their mission.

"The goal of our organization is to empower new immigrants with the tools necessary to succeed in their new land," said Jessica Noon, community resource coordinator for Arlington Refugee Services, one of the recipients of Kintera's donation of services and software.
