Kingwood Women's Club 10th Annual Holiday Marketplace & Preview Party.HOUSTON -- Holiday time is in the air for the over 100 members of the Kingwood Women's Club Women’s clubs first arose in the United States during the post-civil war period. The Marketplace and luncheon will be held again this year at the Humble Civic Center on Will Clayton Parkway on Tuesday, November 7th from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. This festive holiday event has become very well known over the years and is a great way to kick off the holiday season. A Preview Party will be held on Monday evening, November 6th from 7:00 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served to shoppers. Over 90 vendors from Texas and across the US will be available with unique home decor, holiday decorations, handmade santas, food items, jewelry jewelry, personal adornments worn for ornament or utility, to show rank or wealth, or to follow superstitious custom or fashion. Mike Molinar, Manager of Carrabba's of Kingwood, has agreed again to cater the delicious holiday luncheon on Tuesday, November 7th. Women's Club members will serve guests in a lovely holiday theme setting. Being served is Pollo Rosa Maria, pasta, salad, bread, dessert, tea and coffee. The luncheon is a great way to take a break during your holiday shopping and visit. Many ladies make this a yearly event with their friends. If you can't stand the thought of losing shopping time, there's a snack shop just for you! Hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cookies and other snacks will be available to keep you going.
