, took first place in the 2004 Kingsville International Young Performers Competitions. She will receive a $6,250 cash prize and will perform with the Corpus Christi Corpus Christi, in Christianity

The winners of the Isabel Scionti Solo Competitions, held simultaneously with the concerto competitions, were Min Hwan David Kim, 16, who won the Precollege Piano Solo First Place prize, receiving $1,500. He studies with Walter Ponce at the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA comprises the College of Letters and Science (the primary undergraduate college), seven professional schools, and five professional Health Science schools. Since 2001, UCLA has enrolled over 33,000 total students, and that number is steadily rising. . The College Piano Solo First Place winner was Chia-Lin Yang, 25, who studies with Evelyn Brancart at the University of Indiana, Bloomington. The twenty-third annual competition awarded more than $25,000 in prizes to young instrumental performers under age 26. There were 206 entries in eight different contests. Contestants represented fifty-one music schools and seventeen foreign countries, and ranged in age from 11 to 25.
