Kingston and district. (Brancing Out).Editor's Note Editor's Note (foaled in 1993 in Kentucky) is an American thoroughbred Stallion racehorse. He was sired by 1992 U.S. Champion 2 YO Colt Forty Niner, who in turn was a son of Champion sire Mr. Prospector and out of the mare, Beware Of The Cat.Trained by D. : Philip Smart UE is the current president of Kingston Branch UELAC UELAC United Empire Loyalists Association of Canada . Congratulations to him, as he is one of a very few members who has served as President of more than one Branch. He was a Toronto Branch president in the 1970s. Our annual banquet was held on May 24th at Edith Rankin United Church. Guest speaker was Dr. Brian S. Osborne on, Kingston's Other Loyalists, the Presbyterians of Kingston. Our September meeting featured Rev. William Lamb whose topic was, Beyond Genealogy, Fleshing Out the Bare Bones No frills. No luxuries. See bare bones system. . He spoke about Old Hay Bay Church and Methodism in the early years following the American Revolution. On September 28th, thirty Grass relatives and friends descended on Cataraqui United Church Cemetery, Kingston for the dedication of a new marker to Capt. Michael Grass UE who died in 1813. The older marker was incorporated into new one. (Editor's Note: Look for a photo in the next issue.) Capt. Grass led a group of Loyalists from New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of to Sorel Sorel (sôrĕl`), city (1991 pop. 18,786), S Que., Canada, at the confluence of the St. Lawrence and Richelieu rivers. It is a grain-shipping center with an important shipbuilding industry. , and then on to Kingston in 1783. On November 23rd we were honoured to have as speakers, Angela and Peter Johnson UE. This couple has been active in many capacities with the UELAC for many years, but the subject of this day's talk was Loyalist Sources, and Early Photography.
