Kingston Interactive Television to License Macrovision Copy Protection for Video-On-Demand.

Macrovision UK, a subsidiary of Macrovision Corporation of Sunnyvale, California Sunnyvale ([sʌniveil]) is a city in Santa Clara County, California, United States. It is one of the major cities that make up the Silicon Valley. Copy protection for VOD movies will allow KIT to deliver the latest Hollywood blockbusters to its subscribers alongside an extensive catalogue of movie classics, without threatening the important revenue produced for the studios by DVD DVD: see digital versatile disc.

Launched in September 1999, KIT is a range of interactive television services available in Hull and parts of East Yorkshire. KIT is delivered to the television via Kingston Communications' network using the latest broadband technology (ADSL See DSL.
