Communications, Inc., a full-service provider of custom Web-based solutions and strategic communications, kicked off its annual Corporate Giving Program with the launch of an entirely new web site for the Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WSYSA WSYSA Washington State Youth Soccer Association ).

"We believe that electronic communication is the way we'll stay strong," says WSYSA executive director Tony Screws. The new site, Screws says, will ease the task of communicating with WSYSA's thousands of players, coaches, referees, and parents. "We have about 125,000 kids registered in WSYSA programs this year. At the height of the season, we play about 10,000 games each weekend, and we do this with a staff of 10 and 60,000 volunteers." To facilitate these events, the demand for accurate and immediate information is intense.

One of the largest state soccer associations in the country, WSYSA provides diverse programs ranging from recreation-only leagues to the Washington Youth Soccer League, a select program for players of the highest abilities. WSYSA facilitates programs for Olympic hopefuls, kids from disadvantaged communities, and kids with disabilities. "We like to say that soccer is the game for all children," says Screws, who adds that many of these kids are playing to get college scholarships.

The new site, located at http://www.wsysa.com, provides access to Washington state youth soccer information, including upcoming events and clinics, WSYSA rules and regulations, and game results. It can potentially host chats, house newsgroups This is a list of newsgroups that are significant for their popularity or their position in Usenet history.

Above all, the site is designed to enhance community access to information on the World Wide Web -- one of the main goals of Kindred Communications' Corporate Giving Program.
