KinderCare Offers Cupertino-Area Families New Childcare Option; New State-of-the-Art Learning Facility Now Enrolling Children.

CUPERTINO, Calif. -- The new KinderCare Learning Center in Cupertino, helping to meet the growing needs of busy California families, is now enrolling children in anticipation of opening in January, 2005. Cupertino KinderCare is located at 1515 South De Anza Boulevard (off South De Anza Boulevard and Highway 85).

KinderCare Learning Centers nationwide provide a positive learning environment with age-specific learning programs for all ages. KinderCare's curriculum meets the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of children.

The Cupertino KinderCare will offer a contemporary classroom-style 9,868 square-foot facility. In addition to the regular curriculum, a variety of enrichment and tutorial programs are offered for preschool children, including Hooked on Phonics, a unique reading enrichment program that teaches early reading skills, and instructional computer-integrated learning programs.

KinderCare prides itself on employing highly trained and dedicated staff. Kim Escobedo, the center director, has worked for KinderCare for over seven years. She has an associate of science degree in early childhood education from San Jose City College, San Jose, California. Escobedo also lives in San Jose. The new facility will feature an outdoor Playscape, a natural extension of the classroom, offering a variety of settings, surfaces, textures and equipment to stimulate learning and development by offering a variety of play opportunities.
