Kim Brandt.Kim Brandt, director of marketing and membership at Glen Echo Country Club in St. Louis, MO, was honored by the St. Louis Business Journal in July as one of the area's "30 Under 30/which recognizes remarkable achievements by individuals under the age of 30 in the St. Louis area. Brandt's accomplishments at Glen Echo Country Club include boosting membership in 2004 from 250 people to 400 in only 18 months; successfully raised initiation fees to $10,000 at a time when the trend has been to go down; and launched events such as the Glen Echo Concert Series, in which front row and box seats are provided for members who want to see major bands such as the Rolling Stones and U2. Longtime CMAA member James L. "Jim" Nolletti, CCM passed away on May 13, 2006. Nolletti's career in club management included tenures as general manager of the Davenport Club and Wykagyl Club in New Rochelle, NY. He also served as general manager of Winged Foot Golf Club and the Metropolitan Club in New York City. He retired in 1996. Nolletti is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anne; his son, James; his daughters, Nancy Heinbockel, Elena Skrobacz, and Linda Jackson; and 10 grandchildren. |
