Kikkoman Corp., the world's largest soy sauce brewer, will launch a health food joint venture in the United States with the Consac Industries Inc. Group, a major nutritional supplement manufacturer.

Kikkoman Corp., the world's largest soy sauce brewer, will launch a health food joint venture in the United States with the Consac Industries Inc. Group, a major nutritional supplement manufacturer. Kikkoman will hold a 46.3 percent stake in the joint venture, Country Life, and the U.S. group will own the remainder. The new company will also produce and market Kikkoman and Consac Industries supplements and health foods. Kikkoman's soy sauce, soy milk and other products also will be sold through Consac's sales network.
