Khul Morit Property Endures Significant Potential to Host an Economic Deposit of Copper and/or Gold.TORONTO -- Reno J. Calabrigo, President and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. of Magnum d'Or Resources, Inc. ("Magnum") (OTCBB OTCBB See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB). :MAGR) is pleased to announce an updated report received for the Khul Morit property licenses. Work done on the Kuhl Morit licenses included detailed mapping and sampling, which outlined several copper occurrences that also contain variable gold content. A favourable environment for porphyry copper deposits are suggested by zoned alteration in conjunction with copper-rich base metal mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. related to Paleozoic-aged intermediate composition and hydrothermally altered plutons. Fieldwork detailed the north and central portion of the property. This work revealed trench T-10 (located at the north end of Line 5800 E) contains 3.531 ppm Cu across 9 meters. Other nearby trenches such as T-9, T-11 and T-14 returned between 501 ppm Cu to 633 ppm Cu across 12 meters. Another area of interest is sample 186060 (located in the northeast portion of the grid area) where quartz-tourmaline breccia with minor limonite limonite (līm`ənīt) or brown hematite (hĕm`ətīt, hē`–), yellowish to dark brown mineral, a hydrated oxide of iron, FeO(OH)·nH2 and trace amounts of malachite malachite (măl`əkīt), a mineral, the green basic carbonate of copper occurring in crystals of the monoclinic system or (more usually) in masses. It is translucent or opaque; the luster is silky, vitreous, adamantine, or dull. returned a value of 419 ppb Au. Geological mapping has revealed more than 2 square kilometres of pervasive alteration adjacent to a multiphase intrusive complex. Alteration appears crudely zoned progressively southwards away from the granodiorite granodiorite Medium- to coarse-grained rock that is one of the most abundant intrusive rocks. It contains quartz and is distinguished from granite by having more plagioclase feldspar than orthoclase feldspar; its other mineral constituents include hornblende, biotite, and intrusive contact located in the north edge on the property as follows:
1) Quartz-tourmaline breccias with copper minerals which coincides
with abundant sericite.
2) Zones of copper-bearing quartz-limonite-hematite veins and
stockworks, localized copper-bearing zones 1-50 meters in width.
3) Kilometer-scale silicified zones with and without pyrite
(oxidized).
All of these zones exhibit outwardly broad zones of sericitic-argillic- and/or propyllitic alteration. Satellite imagery of the Khul Morit property reveals an oblate ob·late 1 adj. 1. Weak or poorly defined structural lineaments trend northeast in the north part of this alteration complex and trend west and northwest in the southern portion of this zone. Bedrock geology of the north portion of the Khul Morit license is dominated by quartz-tourmaline breccia bodies and the south half is dominated by limonite-stained, highly fractured rhyolite rhyolite, fine-grained light-colored acidic volcanic rock. Rhyolite is chemically the equivalent of granite, and is thus composed primarily of quartz and orthoclase feldspar with subordinate amounts of plagioclase feldspar, biotite mica, amphiboles, and pyroxenes. tuff and thrachytic rhyolite. Trenching performed on the property returned values of 3,531ppm Cu across 9 meters in Trench T-10 located at the north end of Line 5800E. Proximal trenches T-9, T-11 and T-14 returned between 501 ppm Cu to 633 ppm Cu across 12 meters. Another area of interest is sample 186060 located in the northeast portion of the grid area where a quartz-tourmaline breccia with minor limonite and trace amounts of malachite returned a value of 419 ppb Au. Rock sample 184024, located in the west portion of the Khul Morit mineral license is hosted in silicified si·lic·i·fy v. si·lic·i·fied, si·lic·i·fy·ing, si·lic·i·fies v.tr. This area is located to the southwest of the 2004 grid area and is underlain by clay altered rhyolite tuff/flow. The management of Magnum is very pleased with the results on the Khul Morit property. The Khul Morit property has identified the potential to host an economic deposit of copper and/or gold based on the widespread distribution of copper mineralization present on the subject property and also based on the geochemical widespread distribution of elevated gold values related to hydrothermal emanations "Emanations" is the ninth episode of . Mr. Calabrigo stated, "These preliminary results are the strongest that we have seen in our Mongolian group of properties." Calabrigo further stated, "The Khul Morit will be exciting to drill in the Fall."
