As part of the agreement, Key3Media will promote eBay's Computer and IT-related businesses at COMDEX and NetWorld+Interop events in North America. For example, at COMDEX Fall 2001, eBay will be promoted throughout the event with eight eBay kiosk stations, event-related print media and on the comdex.com event website. In addition, Key3Media will promote "Auction for America," eBay's online charity effort that allows people around the world to buy and sell goods online to raise money for the victims, families and communities affected by the September 11 terrorist attacks.

It is a joint venture between Colony Capital, which owns 60 percent, and New York City-based REIT Whitehall Street Real Estate Funds, which owns the remaining 40 percent. .
