Using radar or infrared sensors, distant objects, such as a deer crossing the road at night or in a fog, are projected onto the on three Boeing 777 aircraft. Rockwell Collins will also upgrade TES on three Boeing 767 aircraft. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in May 2004. Under the agreement, the TES will include full in-seat audio and video on demand (AVOD AVOD Audio/Video On Demand AVOD Audio Video on Demand ) on the Boeing 777 aircraft. The Boeing 767 aircraft will be upgraded to AVOD. TES offers customers a flexible, totally digital system built on a proven, interactive platform.
