An early center of river traffic and lumbering, Muscatine is the shipping and processing center of a rich agricultural area. There is also light manufacturing., Iowa, names Gerald "Jerry" F. Johnson as vice president of advertising and marketing resources. Johnson joined the company in Johnson 1968 as a sales trainee and most recently served as vice president of marketing resources.
