The event was held Friday morning at 3801 Kraft S.E., the site of the Sept. 19 early morning accident. Kent County Sheriffs' spokesman Sgt. Thomas Hillen said that the Pinkerton security officer had been on routine patrol when he noticed the men driving erratically. He followed them a short distance, phoning sheriffs of the situation. Several minutes later, the car crashed into a ditch, landing on train tracks adjacent to the Kent County International Airport. Twork pulled the men to safety seconds before an eastbound CSX train hit the car, throwing it 20 yards, narrowly missing all three. Currently, charges are pending against the driver of the vehicle for operating under the influence of alcohol.
