Kenneth Park quietly builds leading architectural firm.


Detail-conscious, client service-oriented and cutting-edge creative, Kenneth Park has risen to success as both an architect and entrepreneur in the highly competitive arenas of creating innovative retail, multi-use and corporate interior projects.

The Korean-born architect has been well known in the professional practice of retail development and design for decades. He opened his own firm, Park Retail Design, Inc in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

More recently, Mr. Park has made his creative mark for his work in corporate interiors, an expansion of his award-winning retail work, which led to designing equally brilliant office space for long-term clients.

Prior to starting his own firm, Kenneth Park was Director of Design for the Michael Peters Michael Peters (August 61948 - August 21 1994) was an American choreographer. He was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in New York City, and died in Los Angeles, California from complications of AIDS.

He also did choreography for Donna Summer's "Love to Love You Baby".

Under the PEG/PARK umbrella, both firms continue to flourish and often consult and work on projects collaboratively. Mr. Park also operates a separate retail division of the firm; kennethpark Architects.

Through his innovative work, impeccable reputation and the single most powerful form of business-building, good, old-fashioned word of mouth from satisfied clients, Mr. Park expanded his practice internationally.

Following the shattering terrorist attacks on September 11, Mr. Park's New York-based architectural firm continued to thrive. Not long thereafter, his firm undertook Santana Row Santana Row is an upscale shopping center in San Jose, California. It is the county seat of Santa Clara County. , a mixed-use project of 1,200 residential lofts, town homes & flats and 135 stores, boutiques and restaurants.

More opportunities came fruition as similar, mixed-use project developers sought Mr. Park's services. Blue Back Square in West Harford, Connecticut was designed to compliment the Town's unique square. It is comprised of 275,000 s/f of retail and 175,000 s/f of Class A office space and 100 residential lofts.

It is not unusual that his long-term clients would turn to him to build their office space after he successfully built their outstanding retail spaces. This was the case with the Camuto group which had sold Nine West a few years earlier.

It was Kenneth Park who Vince Camuto turned to for the Jessica Simpson showroom built in New York City. Shortly thereafter, kennethpark Architects was commissioned to build The Camuto Group's 37,000 s/f office space.

The office, at 411 Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, Connecticut Greenwich is a town in Fairfield County, Connecticut, United States. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 61,101. For all his extensive, multi-faceted accomplishments, Kenneth Park is not a man inclined to brag, seek or easily enter the spotlight. His preference is to work diligently behind the scenes, remaining close to clients, pouring over every detail and making sure their needs are met.

The largely residential city is home to many motion-picture and television personalities.  could not entice Mr. Park to accept in person the 2007 Award for Excellence for the BCBG store on Rodeo Drive Rodeo Drive (IPA: /roʊˈdeɪoʊ/) generally refers to a famous three-block long stretch of boutiques and shops in Beverly Hills, California, United States, although the street stretches further north and south. . Nor did Mr. Park personally accept the Award for Excellence for the Tourneau Time Dome at the Forum Shops in Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Conservative, hard working and diligent, Kenneth Park is a believer in building his business one satisfied client and one innovative, award-winning project at a time. He has risen from humble beginnings to achieving a national and international level of success. While he is not one to brag, he and his firm are definitely ones to watch.
