Kennedy Funding.


Kennedy Funding completed a $2 million loan to WKOB Channel 53, a New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 television station serving the Korean Korean, language of uncertain ancestry. It is thought by some scholars to be akin to Japanese, by others to be a member of the Altaic subfamily of the Ural-Altaic family of languages (see Uralic and Altaic languages), and by still others to be unrelated to any known  community.

The borrower, Andrew H. Ohm, is a major figure in Korean media in the U.S. He established Korea Korea (kôrē`ə, kə–), Korean Hanguk or Choson, region and historic country (85,049 sq mi/220,277 sq km), E Asia.  News, Inc., which publishes The Korea Times New York and WKOB.

Ohm needed the loan from Kennedy in order to obtain the rights to Channel 48 at an FCC auction See 700 MHz spectrum.  for digital stations and licenses.

Ohm prevailed at the FCC auction with a bid of just under $1.3 million.
