(www.sonimtech.com), the leader in enabling today's wireless data networks to deliver high-margin voice services, announced the formation of its advisory board, made up of prominent members of the wireless industry including Kendra VanderMeulen, former senior vice president of product development and strategy of AT&T Wireless; Ross Cormack, former chief executive officer of Virgin Mobile Asia; Dana Love, former vice president and general manager of ADC Telecommunications, the second largest provider of voicemail systems; and Bob Pike, executive vice president of global marketing and business development of Mobileway.

Kendra VanderMeulen is a long-term veteran of the telecommunications and wireless industries. She joined AT&T Wireless, then McCaw Cellular Communications, Inc., in 1994 to lead the formation of the wireless data business, and led the development of wireless packet data services that pioneered the mobile Internet. In her role at AT&T Wireless, she served as senior vice president of product development and strategy, responsible for the definition, development, introduction and management of new mobility products to meet customer demand.

Ross Cormack brings to Sonim more than two decades of unique international mobile leadership experience. Most recently as chief executive officer for the billion-dollar Singapore-based Virgin Mobile Asia, Cormack was responsible for creating Asia's first multi-national MVNO. He was previously managing director of Hong Kong Telecom Mobile and with Cable & Wireless Global Mobile taking roles as managing director Asia and head of its European mobile operations including One2One in the UK, Bouygues Telecom in France and E-Plus in Germany. Cormack also served as managing director AirTouch International in Italy where he won the license for Omnitel Pronto Italia, now one of Europe's largest operators.

He has also served as Principal Investigator for IP communications at GTE and brought to market the first carrier-grade IP messaging service.

Bob Pike is executive vice president of global marketing and business development for Mobileway, the leader in managing and monetizing mobile transactions across the globe. He joined Mobileway from Microsoft's mobility and collaboration group, where he was responsible for Microsoft's foray into the wireless market. In his role, the company achieved its goals via a joint development and partnership with BT and AT&T in 1989. As a 24-year veteran of the IT industry, Pike was the European founder of Vxtreme, which was sold to Microsoft in 1997.
