Keith D. Gates Joins Integrity Pharmaceutical Corporation as Chief Executive Officer.

Integrity Pharmaceutical Corporation announced today that Keith Gates has joined the company as Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Gates brings to Integrity 30 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution experience, primarily in specialty markets. Most recently he served as vice president and general manager of ASD Specialty Healthcare in Dallas, Texas. This start up specialty division of Bergen Brunswig Corporation (NYSE:BBC) grew to exceed $1 billion in sales in five years. Prior to joining ASD he served as vice president of sales for Immunex Corporation (Nasdaq:IMNX), a biotechnology company. He has also served as Director of Lederle Oncology, a division of Lederle Laboratories (now American Home Products (NYSE:AHP)), and held numerous management positions at Lederle.

Integrity was founded by Union Springs, Essex/Woodlands Venture Partners of Chicago and Blue Chip Venture Company of Cincinnati in January 1999. At that time the company acquired a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Indianapolis and a number of products from Shire-Richwood Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq:SHPGY). Since January the company has hired Steven Campbell, formerly with UCB Pharma, as vice president of sales; Roland Bydlon, formerly with Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY), as vice president of marketing; and David Hillary Jr., formerly with Columbia HCA Healthcare (NYSE:COL), as controller. The company also retained all the former Shire-Richwood employees at the manufacturing facility.
